A Sweet Birthday Song For A Gem

I wrote this song some years ago (just before resigning from stage) and sang it on my birthday with my friends in attendance. The lyrics are so motivating that I see it as one of the best songs I've ever written. Though nicer when judging others', I maintain a perfectionist attitude in self criticism - don't spare myself. But over again I scored myself well above average on this song. The song has a typical rhythm and blues flavour kind of like a reinvention of the disco era with the buggy down spice in the bridge.
